Shaw Rocket Fund Project
OneFish TwoFish Consulting, on behalf of the Shaw Rocket Fund, is developing a White Paper examining the future of Canadian children's media which looks at funding models, policy frameworks, platform shifts, what kids want and need and what comes next for an industry in the middle of profound change. The findings will reach funders, broadcasters, platforms, government, regulators, creators and decision-makers across the country.
How Can I Have My Say?
We want to hear from everyone who works in the children's media ecosystem: producers, writers, creators, distributors, broadcasters, platform employees, game developers, unions and guilds, animators, technology companies, and anyone else whose work reaches or affects kids. Every perspective matters, regardless of the size of your organization or your role. Research like this is only as strong as the voices behind it. The people working inside this industry every day are the ones who actually understand what's happening and what's at stake.
We're hoping you'll share the link below with your members, staff, or network. This is a comprehensive national study- the first to look holistically at all the issues facing the industry at once - and participation is what makes it meaningful. All responses are confidential, and the survey can be completed in stages, so participants can save their progress and return as their schedule allows.
The survey is open for your comments until April 8th, 2026.
Please share these on your social channels to help us reach more voices!
